Someone asked that Eastern Range guy and he seems to be of the opinion that we, along with a few other sides could look to trade a top 5 pick for multiple picks because the draft is so evenly spread talent wise this year.

We've traded out our 3rd, 4th and 5th round picks already, but grabbed Carlton's 2nd, so could we look to flip potentially a top 5 Carlton pick into two more picks in the top 20 and go for 4 picks in the first 30 in the next draft?

Bad move IMO.

We have plenty of top end talent on our list that we aren't playing. Three first rounders on the weekend and some decent seconds didn't play.

What we need is a screaming good talent. One bloke that's truly elite. I'd keep our top pick and hope to get the absolute best player in the draft

That's the point though. They don't think there is that one "screaming good talent" and it's all fairly even through the first 20 picks or so.

I need to pick your brain mate?

I take it you're from up the Barossa Valley and follow the Central Districts FC, what can you tell me about Nurioopta lad Rhys Cannizarro? I'm hearing he's a real talented kid and a real smoky for the draft? Big bodied midfielder 185cm 86kg that also excels on the basketball court?

To be Honest, have not watched him much, but what I saw recently he runs hard, tackles strong, does read the play.
Have heard he getting serious about football so I would expect a jump in performance.
I was more interested in Leek Alleer, not too sure But I think he a Crows NGA.
Unfortunately, they both play in a very ordinary under 18 team so not much support from other players, Both will play Ressies and League at various stages this year so we will get a better picture of them against the bigger bodies.

Will ask around and find out more.

Anderson as that tall midfielder who can kick goals and rack up the ball.. sign me up.
How’s his pace?

3 goals to Williams aswel, wouldn’t sleep on him either as a top prospect. Serious Stephenson vibes for me.

Anderson
26 disposals, 2 goals

Rowell
31 disposals, 11 tackles
Jesus These boys can play. National Champs this year will be a good watch.

Looking at our backline structure now, if Big Will Gould gets to our second pick at ~19, I'd be pretty keen. Good user, intercepter, and can lock down an opponent. Bit of a man child, but if his sanfl performances stay solid it'd suggest he should perform at ALL level.

The Australian U18 team selected to play the Casey Demons on April 20 at the MCG. Big bodied Geelong Falcon Cooper Stephens will be a scratching after breaking his leg on the weekend, one of my real fancies for this year's draft. Stephens will miss the U18 Championships as a result so could be one of the "bargains" in this year's draft which often happens with youngsters that miss a chunk of footy in their draft year. CAN PLAY.
