Stack is an Elite forward and above average defender .

lol, Stack is the best defender we have apart from maybe Grimes and Rance.

Stack might be able to kick goals better than some others but he is a better defender for me, in fact as a defender he is elite

You are highlighting our forward line is far from complete!!

Geez bucko, you talk some shit sometimes. No love for Vlastuin or Houli?

To say he's the best defender we have apart from MAYBE Grimes and Rance tells me that you have a screw loose.

Ok, I know I shouldn't respond to your comments....but sheesh!!

I would take a punt on Williams and Taheny but do not anticipate them to reach our picks. Fraser Phillips for a late stab otherwise 2021 focus.

I had a look at Dow.

He runs a 3.06 20 metre sprint which is considered average. He is 183 cm 4 cm less than his brother he is still on the light side at 76 cm. The trouble is he is inconsistent to per Afldraft central profile. He will need to get better enduro and improve size and strength. Will this affect his speed and consistency?

Can he play back in a role before improving consistency??

The thing is the lack of a real competitive strength like size or speed could be why he is inconsistent apart from injury. I think atm he is a project player but I wish him the best in his development and I hope he really accelerates his development

3rd in agility.

3rd in agility.

If you are talking about Dow agility is not everything. It is not unimportant but speed, endurance for overall impact is probably more relevant especially in contested scenarios.

Agility is inconsequential if you cannot get to the contest or do not have the power to break a contest or speed to break away.

Cyril and Daniel are probably high on agility but they also had speed to break away. Dow does not have the don't argue Dusty has. Is Dusty quicker than Dow?

See someone like Philp has the speed and the extra height reach at 186cm which affects his consistency and effectiveness in contests with a bit more weight and strength. You can see it in his vision when he greats a ball from height coming down and bursts through

Stack is better than Vlastuin, and Houli as defenders. Said it earlier in the year. I rate Vlastuin and Houli, I just rate Stack higher

Its a bit speculative for me at that pick. Hope not but he could be a dud.

Unlike robertson does not have the consistency, nor the size of others nor the skill by foot of Bianco.

The other thing is I do not see how he gets past Bolton, Edwards, Graham etc..

He is more versatile then those players you mentioned tho can play forward to and we like our players to be like that.

Mate he rates Elite in 3 of 4 categories forward and above average or average in 3of 4 for a defender .

I will be honest, if Stack was fit he would be playing in the GF last years for RFC for me
No one disagrees with that. But Vlastuin and Houli are established stars, while Stack has the potential and ability to be our best player in a few years, he isn't close to those guys yet.

Could we package our 3 picks together to get 2 around 28-30?
It's only a small difference but might help us nab one or two of the highly rated sliders still on the board.
Don't think so.

I reckon we'll want to keep those 3 together given how the Draft is shaping up. I think our only trading activity - if any - will be offering our future first for the next few selections up until about pick 26 then we'll shelve trading.

Just my gut feel.

I think we'll try the above to try snare a Bianco, Rivers, Rantall or H Jones, and then we're out.

Hoping Brock Smith makes it to our triple selection.
