We picked 5 future A Graders if we are doing real talk and not trolling.

It's a shame we only won the flag this year..... and 2 in the past 3.

Glad we didn't take Bianco, apparently the guy is a devoted Pies fan....... I don't think we needs him, and we certainly weren't the only club between 20-45 to overlook him....... there is a reason.

I actually like the idea of Balta on the wing, like Richo in his later days.

Balta was close to last this week.
His tank is nowhere near good enough to play off the bench let alone on a wing.

Just an observation mate, definitely isn't the primary reason, we would have to ask the teams with the other picks within that range why they all overlooked him.

The more I read up on Ralphsmith the more I am intrigued. can definitely suit the Richmond game plan.

Yeh your probably right, however, I stand by the fact we were caught off guard when Brissy didn't match. Which means we were worried they would then match for Martyn or because we had another player we wanted for those 3 picks.

Considering what the Bombers bid had done to Brissy and the friggen 20 mins too match(whatever happened to the 5min limit).Don't you think our boys would have done the sums on what Brissy couldn't do when it came to bidding for Cumberland?
We done the sums and we knew if they did bid they'd go into deficit next year.hence why it they wanted Sydneys picks for whats his name.

They must've moved Egg to the Cat A rookie list. That's the only explanation I can think of for us not having the extra rookie spot.

Some of the Lion's posters rated Cumberland rather highly, said he possesses good pressure and is hard at it. Sounds like a Richmond type. Martyn they were unsure with, questions on his hurt factor. Guess time will tell.

A little surprised on the lack of talk on Ralphsmith, he is a decent selection by our boys. A lot to like.

How sure are you about this? AFL.com.au doesn't say it's tied to St Kilda yet other clubs moves do say when it's tied to a different club (as per Hawthorns trade)...
