Actually why don't we get GWS 40 and give GWS all our picks after 50. How does that work in points??
We still have 5 picks before 50 to use.
GWS get more points don't they to match Green, we have a better pick.
I just realised we lost those picks in the 70's because we can't use them with only 5 selections possibly

Why don't we trade them 56 with future draft picks later in 2020 for pick 40??
They are going into deficit in 2020 anyway. They will need the points in 2020 as much as 2019
The 50 pick will move up to for them. Might be less than 200 points difference after adjustment,
With all the academy picks a later future pick in 2020, whats it worth to us in the draft?? GWS get more points to reduce deficit, we get better pick.

After bids are made the picks could be 22, 42,43,44 & 53. With the draft so even after the second round there would be little value trading 9 places at the expense of a future 3rd.

Every advantage helps when trying to win another premiership.
The trade will have to happen earlier before Green is matched.
We go up nine positions approx. as you say they get more points, over the 2019/2020 area they can use to reduce deficit.
We would only give them a slight points advantage, no need to give up a future pick outright, could swap future picks around. With all the academies next year what are they worth? We might trade out a future third round, we get GWS future fourth round...
Having 42,43,44 and 45 could help get a better pick in second round.
At the end of the day one does whatever it can to support the team to win

Can't see any other sliders at our pick. So hopefully we just takes C.Stephens.
Also, the draft profiles this year has been pathetic. Half the players don't have highlight videos, and the ones that do are like a minute long and don't even show anything. You can't find them on YouTube either..
