Taheny a slider, IMO could get his way into the 40's or even 50's come draft day

Harrison Jones looks like he could be a top 20 bolter too for teams that want height

tahney @ 38-41 would be noice

Now pressure is great in the forward line but pressure is great all through the ground, and a guy with great speed and tackling like Philp can be damaging too. That's why I think someone may bite in the 20s.

Philp at a 2nd/3rd/4th pick might be a nice fit too

interesting to see who slips with the Tigers having so many picks in the 2nd/3rd rounds

Would take either at First pick no hesitation, don't think we will get the chance. De Koning could be anything, 200cm and athletic abilities off the chart, could be a Key forward, back or ruck. Day is super silky, once his body develops look out.

Was hearing all week it would be Trent Rivers at our pick, but hearing there could be a more fancied player drop that we weren't expecting. Pickett rising and Freo bypassing Robertson could shuffle a few things. From what i've mapped out, I wonder if that player is De Koning or Worrell? I expect more info to be flooding in by around 5 or 6pm....

We will get a very good player regardless.
Well it's 8 now

I meant tomorrow before the draft lads! Recruiters are still up now, some at their hotels some like the Lions at the Manningham club working on plans.

Coaches now getting involved.

You’re at the pub aren’t you.

And then take the full allotted time for each pick. Huddle, whisper, have a chuckle and make the other clubs sit there and wait:p
And the cherry on top...ask for more time to consider cos it's so difficult to make a decision!...each pick!

We won the draft yet?

We are so confident Balmey has suggested we go open misere. We win even when we lose with the cards stacked against us.

Who's your favourite prospect around our selections this year?

I maintain if a tall is there we should take them if it’s Worrell, De Koning or Jones. For the sake of our long term future I think that’s what our list requires.

There’s a few, I haven’t seen enough of Cooper Stephens to form an opinion so I’ll leave him out, I like Sharp, Rivers (who I like as a mid) and Ralphsmith. Think we should bid on McGuinness as he’s definitely worthy and would be a great choice. Good player.

In a dream world Will Day or Myles Bergman drop to us but that has a less than 1% chance I feel.

I'd avoid forcing the issue of drafting a tall and stick to the best player available tact. Free agency and trading are where we should look to fill the Key Position player void long term.

Just look at what the dogs have done in one off season with Bruce and Alex Keath.
