Also, your club’s list management strategy is “draft whoever we think Richmond will draft”. It’s incredibly flattering for our recruiters when little Carlton is trying to copy our recruiting philosophy. Pity you’ll never have the development or culture of the mighty Richmond FC.

Stocker will end up a solid Bastinac type player. That 5-6 mid that plays in the second rotation. A bit like Jack Graham for us, but without the defensive pressure. The best part for them is it means that Matt Kennedy doesn’t ever play in their 22 again. An upgrade on him no doubt.

Don’t ever compare Stocker to Jack Graham again. One had to hold back tears when the big bad Richmond recruiters questioned his work rate, the other played through a dislocated shoulder in a PF and is a premiership hero.

Red_man2008 we had no interest in stocker at all actually do some research, and on the off chance we were interested in Phillip which remains to be seen if Carlton’s whole recruiting plan is try and get ahead of Richmond in the draft you’re more ****ed as a club then I thought possible

Of course Dimma will say that they are essential. No way will he go to a press conference and say that Rioli is not essential.

I’m just saying that actions speak louder than words. On his current form he is a fringe player. It sucks because I actually like him as a player and want to see him do better, but it’s just the reality at this stage. He could become a genuine star of the competition later on, but I don’t see it happening right now.

If we take out the games he was unavailable due to injury/funerals since his first year, he has played 77 out of 78 games or 98.7% of the possible games he could have. But he's a fringe a player

Liam “Crybaby” Stocker wouldn’t get a game for Vermont. If he’s playing round one, you’ll be receiving another pick one at the end of next season.
