Philp is a Richmond supporter too. Liking the sound of taking him. Not many inside bulls are quick. It’s a rare combination

Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Not sure he was considered an inside bull at that age.We also remember the last inside bull that went at 19 that was a Richmond fan and we overlooked, one N.Fyfe. Although he wasn’t a bull when drafted

Fyfe was a skinny under sized FF that weighed 63 kgs dripping wet and most people thought 2kgs was due to his earsWe also remember the last inside bull that went at 19 that was a Richmond fan and we overlooked, one N.Fyfe. Although he wasn’t a bull when drafted
AFL have really dropped the ball with draft coverage.Reading the write up on Philp makes him sound like an Elliot Yeo type. Now if I could just find some vision of him...
The Nab league ap is shit.
All most of us is going off this year is write upsAFL have really dropped the ball with draft coverage.
Yep.I think if it all stays as it is i think our options will be Day/Rivers & Sharp.Agree fully about a Houli replacement (although the club would have high hopes for Naish). Will Day would be my choice there if he gets to us. Rivers would be very good but might be gone. There's also Jeremy Sharp but he might be a reach as he's expected to go mid 20s.
As usual I reckon the Tiges will pick who they see as next best player available on their board.
KPF are bloody hard to find, and as stated in Konrads book they mostly come very early in the draft. We won’t have a high pick for awhile so our best bet is to target one in FA/trade.
As for KPD I don’t believe it’s that dire, Balta and garthwaite have another 1-2 years of development before Rance moves on. Astbury, Grimes, Broad and Flossy will be around to guide them too for awhile. We also have access to Baxter next year who is CHB and has talent, and the club will already be developing him for a KPD post.
We can easy pick up another with our 3 middle picks as well.
AFL have really dropped the ball with draft coverage.
What are the chances Richmond trades up to a top 3-15 pick?

+ future picks
quite a lot of firepower if they find a player they like
given the list is pretty good currently maybe quality over quantity
A lot of people saying such and such may be gone by this pick is overlooking the live trading aspect of it now. It might be a lot more of this the 2nd time around?
I would be looking to get to pick 9-12 range in an attempt to get Kemp
Reckon we’ll end up with someone that hasn’t or hardly been mentioned.Yep.I think if it all stays as it is i think our options will be Day/Rivers & Sharp.
Luv Rivers but my money would be on Day.
Both were expected to be gone by our selections so nobody dared to dreamReckon we’ll end up with someone that hasn’t or hardly been mentioned.
How many punters predicted Higgins in 2017 or RCD in 2018!!!
If that eventuates there’ll be some very happy Tiger fansBoth were expected to be gone by our selections so nobody dared to dream
its like Brodie Kemp in this years draft falling to our selection
They sure are - especially the A grade ones. But then look at guys like James Podsiadly!
Balta hasn't looked much of a defender yet and IMO he could end up being a wingman/midfielder given his athleticism, and potentially backup/3rd ruck.
I'm hoping CCF/Chol become 2nd forward to Lynch/backup ruck to Soldo or Nank.
Garthwaite I think won't make it. Not big or strong enough as a KPD, not fast enough to be a mid-defender like Broad. Not enough mongrel either.
It’s always worth drafting a tall we should be taking 1 a year, with maybe a ruck every 2-3 years.I think it's absolutely worth drafting a bloke like Emerson Jeka so late in the draft.
Could happen.Someone always throws a curve ball.Reckon we’ll end up with someone that hasn’t or hardly been mentioned.

Shirley it hasn't come to the price being 2 first round picks and 2 downgrades for an undrafted, untried player not even considered in the top 2, by some not even in the top half dozen, players in the draft year.....That is a Silvagni move. Is that you Stephen?
Looking like there could be 3 possible bolters in the draft
Sam Philp , Kysaiah Pickett , Mitchell Georgiades
I would take Green over Kemp & Young, Kid will be a beastYou have to make the deal good enough for the other team to accept.
pick 19 and richmonds next years first, are hardly first rounders too.
I like Green for sentimental reasons but would be interested trading up for Young or Kemp too.
It sounds like a few people are seeing KPickett racing up the rankings
I want Pickett.
That burst of speed and Shepard got me so hard I think i impregnated my wife 18 times
Agreed. Green will be a Dangerfield clone but with the Richmond DNA cancelling out the dickheadedness.I would take Green over Kemp & Young, Kid will be a beast
Lets hope Blair Hartley is already in his ear with the #9 jumper in his hand
