Astbury was a swingman as a junior, as was Darcy Moore. Rance, Hurley, Lever, Talia, Weitering were all backmen. I think McGovern and Andrews were too. May was a forward.were they?

It'll be strange next week because we have the last two picks of the second round and the first pick of the 3rd.
The first two rounds are done on day one and then we'll have to wait until the next day for the 3rd round to start.
Last year west coast held the first pick of the 2nd day of the draft and on the radio they said WC had heaps of offers overnight from clubs wanting to jump and to not miss out on the player they wanted. I wonder if the same will happen this year and we can get a good deal?
| National draft | First round: 27 November Second and subsequent rounds: 28 November |

Woops my bad. I thought they changed it this year.I think its just round 1 done on the first day, so Richmonds first pick is the last?
suns will be in a good position with pick 20, the first pick post the first round.
National draft First round: 27 November
Second and subsequent rounds: 28 November
Will have all night to negotiate with other teams the best deal if they want to trade.
Assuming the gold coast pick 20 is classified as the start of round 2, not end of round 1 (?)
I’d be stoked win Rantall, I’m happy to admit he really doesn’t fit an immediate hole or need. I just think he has one of the highest ceilings of all the prospects in the draft.
Not sure I like any of those deals as we cut ourselves out of the best part of this years draftHawks-42 & 1st(2020).(How well will the Hawks go next year is the ?,while 42 would gives us picks 38,39,40,41.(gws lose 40)
Ess-31 & 33.( 56 back to them.won't need).
Coll-35 & 1st(2020)
Not necessarily, he has great haInteresting that Rantall is rated elite for goals and score involvements for a midfielder in those champion data stats.
That sort of goes against the general held view that his kicking is schizen

Kemp into the teens you say?
Very different players there GrockWe are dead keen on Kemp, especially losing Menadue.
Nearly all used to be forwards not many dedicated backs but that was a while ago so it probably has shifted.were they?
i think astbury was a forward ...
Imagine if we had drafted Sam Taylor at 25 instead of Balta .
KB sorted gor the next 10 years .

Agree regarding versatility but Kemp played KPF as a junior and has play key defence aswell at 192cm. Menadue is/was more speedy/agile with versatility whilst kemp has the contested marking, strength and ability to play on ball. Both versatile but for different reasons and different positions.More for the versatility and athleticism side of things. Menadue could play HB, HF or on a wing. Kemp provides that as well and he can go through the middle as well.

Media linking us heavily to Stephens, Rivers Rantall, with mentions to Bianco and Day. Sounds like it’ll probably come from those 5 with our first
My preference
1. Rivers
2. Rantall
3. Stephens
4. Bianco
5. Day
Wouldn’t be too unhappy with any of them though
Not in all of them. But even so, no one is linking him with us. Not to say we’re not interested thoughGould going before Richmonds first pick in these phantom drafts i assume?
