Cooper Stephens certainly looks ready made.

They should be going for the throat and making a bid on Green at 3. They'd still get Jackson and ensure the Plastic Giants don't get two T5 picks!Dees fans wonāt be happy with Buckenara.
Funny how people get so defensive about players that their clubs are linked with. Iād guess theyād rate Jackson late teens a month ago and now they have a reported interest inside the top 10 their posters are all out and about trying to convince the rest of us that heās worth it. Funny thing if they donāt grab him then theyāll be telling us all he was shit anyways and it was always a reach.

Loved RCD's game in the VFL gf. Hard running and long bomb goals. Really looking forward to seeing if he develops over the next two years. You'd have to say close to 0 chance. Although I asked the same question of RCD last year and got the same response.

No no no.......Would be a great pick up imo, if he can improve his disposal then he's a ready made replacement for bachar.
We really dont have anything of value to offer the SunsThe other thing to realise is after pick 19, assuming we use it, end of first round, end of first day.
This is a time now we could trade 2020 future first round plus extras for Gold Coast 20 which will be first pick next day.
If we get 19 and 20 like I said then we can trade back later after first day before second day by offering 20 from GC and later picks for Norths picks or Lions picks etc...
The other thing is we can say to GC we can help them get a later pick in the 20's or 30's if they want. This might be relevant. GC will have 20, they might think they are reaching for who they want they, no sliders suits them they might want to trade back to some point
All he needed was 6 more games in a row to break out!Jayden Post. Who we all new wouldnāt make it.
I'll have what he's having...Buckenarra is on drugs.
We really dont have anything of value to offer the Suns
The consensus is that we will have #17-#19 next year similar to 2019 and the suns wont trade the #20 for this pick doesnt matter what steak knives we give them as they just wont use a pick thats beyond pick 20 this year or next year and they no longer require points for their academy selections
Its really good sh!t manI'll have what he's having...
GC dont need points for their academyHow do you know who GC are chasing in the 2019 and 2020 drafts especially when picks have values for academies next year
GC dont need points for their academy
Also they will have picks 1-2 & pick 11 plus 22-24
Nothing we have is better than what they already have and its also a weaker draft
Maybe you better read up a bit about what the AFL granted GC this yearHow do you know GC do not want points for academies in the 2020 and 2021 years??
Also you still do not know if 20 has value to GC matching any player(s) they might be chasing this year.
They could be holding 20 for a slider that may not eventuate from the first round for all we know.
The other thing is GC cannot hold a team of stars, it will blow its cap despite any AFL HQ help. They have to pick up some young role players at some point to support the viability of their list and ensure a sustainable culture that can organically grow

Its not like GC is getting a star at 20 anyway and players behind their stars will not help them anyway

That has nothing to do with what this conversation started off as !!Maybe you think GC position on the ladder is acceptable to them
That has nothing to do with what this conversation started off as !!
Im more than happy to have an argument with you and wont stop until i get my point across but its not going to be tonight , Now if you want to get back to the topic instead of just talking crap i suggest you read up about why the suns dont need points to match any bids. The afl has allowed them to pre list their academy picks without points - So No Points required for GC " CAPISH"
Now getting back to the 'Value' of the picks
2020 Richmond 1st rounder will be around 17-19 based on our expected position but with academy / father Son's players available in 2020 our 1st pick will be more in the range of pick #25-#30. So why would GC trade #20 in a stronger draft for a pick #25-#30 in a weaker draft ???
OK you are going to say but we can give them 1 of our later picks - NO , They are on record as trying to Bundle #15 + #20 to get into the top 10 with a 3rd pick and only take 3 picks
Now i hope that explains everything to you and rather than reply with the child like "but Why . but Why"
Read the latest AFL gifts to the GC suns thread
Surely your taking the pi55 and cannot possibly be so .......It has everything to do with it.
You seem to think GC will sit on 20 and do not have the will to improve their situation as they see fit!!
You also seem to think they will and can live off handouts into infinity
Surely your taking the pi55 and cannot possibly be so .......
Your drunk go to bed
Twomey also reporting that many clubs believe our first pick this year is gettable which I thought was interesting.
Man everybody losing THEIR MINDS over this draft except RFC who have kept all their picks for this year and next and just keep banking premiership cups in the trophy cabinet. Lol
It doesn't really matter if it's Cooper Stephens or Trent Bianco or Trent Rivers (whom is clearly some bastard from Game of Thrones) or Kossie Pickett or Will Day (drool) or the big lad Worrall or the midget O'Neil. It. Doesn't. Matter.
We all know that the kids drafted will become Richmond Men when they walk in the door and that's the difference about our club these days.
If they don't make it, it won't be because the club didn't select and develop them well enough.
It's going to take someone special to get past the queue of kids already beating down the door to get into the ones now!
Fridge. Stack. Higgo. Ross. Cholly. Balta. Naish. Egg. RCD. Kmac (!) CCJ, Turner, English...Miller....none of these played in the gf and the ALL have UPSIDE to come.
So relax, enjoy the show and give all you support to the kids we do choose. They're 18 years old in the main and their heads will be full of stars and in about two weeks they're going to be running around PRO getting a handball off Dusty, Jack, Cotch, the one man wall, Lunch, Sheds and Grimes so spare a thought !
Let alone Dion, Bachar, Lambo, Vlaus, Caddy, Rioli, Castagna, Astbury, Mint Cans, Pickett etc.etc.etc...dual premiership players on every line. Future Club Hall of Famers!
Frankly I'd be shitting Myself that I'd drop that handball stargazing! Or cop one in the nads.
The kids are alright. The Tigers are alright and the recruitment department at PRO is particularly alright.
And N.Balme.
Heady days indeed.
i'm downThe big fish = Elijah Taylor
Still waiting for a Josh Bootsma or Jarrod Oakley-Nicholls comparison to hit the forum........ what joy....Some of Bucky's "plays like" are piss funny.
Jay Rantall plays like Nick Vlaustin except he can't kick and Cooper Stephens plays like Luke Shuey except he's six inches taller. Anyone aboriginal plays like Liam Ryan and surely being compared to Josh Schache or Harry McKay is a kiss of death. Also says Trent Bianco, despite being 178cm plays like Matt Suckling. Matt Suckling !?!? A foot taller and does anyone actually play like Matt Suckling ? Surely he is unique. Effective and it's his natural technique so you wouldn't change it but you wouldn't coach a kid to kick that way. Keep up the gags Bucky.
