I can assure you Stocker held back tears when Richmond interviewed him. Fire a DM to anyone in the industry and they will tell you the same thing.

The worry is, and Dow can improve on this, he looks light and is he a contested force?

He looks outside to me. Looks like an inbetweener, not sure what his defined role would be tbh

I actually had Walsh at 7.5-1 in preseason last year. Made myself and a lot of people that listen to me a lot of money. Tom Mitchell at 8-1 in his Brownlow year also.

In his 3rd year.
He didn’t do all that much in his first year though, so don’t go writing our players off as a bust after 1 season on an AFL list.

Pissed myself with the Gerogiades pick. Based on his projected draft position that's one of the biggest reaches I can remember.

Georgiades is far from vanilla, wouldn't have lasted past the mid 20s.

We should have traded our first pick though as I think he’d have been there later in the draft as people said, so we could have potentially had an extra pick in the 30-50 range.

What do you think Blair was on the phone for.

Stocker will end up a solid Bastinac type player. That 5-6 mid that plays in the second rotation. A bit like Jack Graham for us, but without the defensive pressure. The best part for them is it means that Matt Kennedy doesn’t ever play in their 22 again. An upgrade on him no doubt.

Bastinac is a shit truck who plays NEAFL after Norf ditched him and Brisbane recruited some talent. Not fit to wipe Jack Graham's arse.

I reckon that’s why Blair was on the phone, he’s trying to move up the draft. A few clubs are to be honest, heard Essendon want a pick early for Bianco.

I think we have engaged both Adelaide and Sydney. We may swap our first round pick next year for a top 25 pick this year and future 3rd or something like that.

Blair was trying to turn pick 21 into two picks I reckon, hoping we could still get Dow.

Any word on who we're keen on if we do get that pick?

How good's Carlspoon. They're the new Melbourne. They piss away pick 3 on Paddy Dow, not only do we waltz in and get the superior Jack Higgins with 17, we get the better Dow at 21 two years later. On top of the haul of Stack > Walsh, and Ross/RCD/Turner all > Stocker.
