Media so salty...
tigers...bad guys WTF?
Richmond
The Tigers turned out to be the bad guys of the draft, preventing three players from joining the clubs to which they were tied. Midfielder Thomson Dow (21), the younger brother of Carlton’s Paddy, was the final pick of the first night. Richmond then doubled up from the Lions’ academy, nabbing forward Noah Cumberland (43) and midfielder Will Martyn (44). The raw but exciting Hugo Ralphsmith (46) slipped further than some had predicted before the supremely athletic Bigoa Nyuon (54) was plucked from St Kilda’s grasp, with the Saints opting not to match a bid for their academy player. The Tigers had no involvement in Friday's rookie draft.
Recruiting manager Matthew Clarke: "We never sit at the start of the night just to plan to bid on a player. We just have a ranking and an order. So if they come up at our picks and are still available, we're paid to pick the best players for the Richmond footy club."

Why did we make Egg Cat A?
This is how stupid so called reporters are.
We didn't prevent the players from joining their clubs, the clubs tied to the academy players prevented them by not matching the bid.
sos is the arseh*le not richmond

It is going to very hard to free up list spots at the end of next season given the quality of the players out of contract. I reckon we will hold the spare Rookie spot for the MSD, to see if there is anyone decent or otherwise keep it vacant.Wonder who goes at the end of the year?
Markov at least, don't know the other two.
Important re-signings looming on the horizon.
Caddy, Graham, Nank, Higgins, Broad, Short, Houli.
They are essentials.
Perhaps Houli retires, we don't know yet.
none of them. Baker and DES have to elevated at the end of next year or re-rookied.Are all 3 of Stack, Pickett and Chol being upgraded to the senior list?
Jesus! Stack and Pickett should be on the senior list b4 Ben Miller at least. They might get pissed off they are getting paid less than everyone else.none of them. Baker and DES have to elevated at the end of next year or re-rookied.
**** them! We don't owe other clubs anything! Let them hate!Media so salty...

Doesn't matter now, no restrictions on rookies playing. Both would be on more money than Miller and half is outside the cap.Jesus! Stack and Pickett should be on the senior list b4 Ben Miller at least. They might get pissed off they are getting paid less than everyone else.

We should have traded him and pick 19,pick 38 in for Ollie Winesrumors CCJ having a cry and wants to go South Australia
Stack & Pickett will earn more in 2020 than Miller and most of the first/second year kids given they'll likely play a lot more AFL gamesJesus! Stack and Pickett should be on the senior list b4 Ben Miller at least. They might get pissed off they are getting paid less than everyone else.
Very hard for sus to say...'no comment'...in that article SUS says...it’s not about me today...it’s about the young kid we picked up
with SUS it’s always about him

...still managed to get a few words in about hisself when their young draft pick was being interviewed...Yep - one of the reasons why they were lept on rookie list is the 80k base is outside the cap as well, with match payments they could earn 180-200kStack & Pickett will earn more in 2020 than Miller and most of the first/second year kids given they'll likely play a lot more AFL games
