Yeah that was amazing. Towards the end of the 3rd if memory serves. Having that sort of understanding of where the ball is headed is how you win flags.

This is the s**t I love that the team is doing. They're playing like premiers, pushing the line where they can.
It appears S.Mitchell's legacy will endure for years to come.

WCE vs GWS - Round 2
I decided to show some of the kicking skills on display, particularly the ones where the kick did all the work, less so where a great contested mark has made the kick look good. There were so many on display in this game. There were heaps of great goals, intercept marks and Tom Cole tackles but I didn't have the energy to gif every bit of play in the entire game, so without further ado;

Couldn't be bothered with too much here, not all the great plays lend themselves to gifs but here's a few of my favourites:
Oscar Allen tackle on Moore
Petruccelle burst number 1
Petrol Jelly burst 2
Jelly burst 3
Jelly burst 4
Rotham reads this like a book, moves smoothly cross the ground
Check Shuey's defence here, second effort to tackle Elliott after stopping Goal Square
See Jetta run right (screen left) causing 21 to peel off Shuey freeing him for the handball, great way to draw the player and create space
Play of the day, Shuey taps this with his right hand to space so he can't be tackled and then fires a left foot bullet high enough for JK to get the reach
The 'Hollywood Handballs' chain
JK tap down and Ryan with a bullet handball, no need to break stride
Half volley = Check
Sell some Candy = Check
40m outside of the boot pass = Check
This is attacking! Great kick by Jetta

I remember just laughing to myself during the game when the lads pulled out the Mighty Ducks party trick stuff.

He kicks a worm burner inside 50 to the leading forward at about 30 out straight in front to finish that play. His daisy cutter delivery has gone up a level with his confidence.Celebrating derby week with a JLT bamboozle from Dom.

Is Jets the best kick in the competition at delivering lace out and weighting passes perfectly? On fire the last two weeks and always feel completely secure when he has possession in the danger zone back there (as opposed to when good old Emac had time and space, bless him). Goes to work in a phone box with terrific peripheral awareness and swervability.
Jack Redden is very clever at those lateral kicks to a player in space on a wing or flank when streaming forward.

I’m not so sure it’s just the Internet, I more often than not have trouble uploading GIFs to BigFooty more so than anywhere else.

Fair bit of arrogance in these plays!!
Gaff's handballs were spot on all game, much better than his kicking but he was under massive pressure on his kicks. Shuey and Yeo were feeding him but the pies were onto it.
