Just wrong strategy. He would still be in front of Hulk if it was a two stopper where he swapped his boots when everyone else was.

Anyone switching to softs now are going to have some old tires by the end of the race. Hulkenberg on mediums so maybe a pretty even team battle for the Renaults, even if Dan's are older.
