I think its 15 years at the moment? I got mine a couple of months ago and this is the 16th year Ive had it.
I was lucky though to be on the "old" AFL membership type that if you also have a club membership that is minimum season reserved seat package then the cost of the club membership is deducted from your annual AFL one or something like that, so basically instead of paying for two separate memberships it only costs me $85 for the year for the gold membership that gets debited by the AFL and then the legends by the club, but its still counted as two so i could buy 2 anzac day tickets in the AFL reserve for like $7.80 each or whatever it was, plus we had our normal Ponsford seats. If we get into the GF then they count our guaranteed seats for both memberships as one so we only get one allocation, but for all the other finals we can essentially buy 2 tickets for Collingwood games. So its a pretty good deal, apparently theyve changed it now so you dont get the double perks or have to pay for two separate ones or something, or they dont deduct the full cost of the club membership off or something like that?

No dramas using phone for tickets at gate ?
Bring it on !!

2 things for mobile

1. Download your ticket before you get anywhere near the MCG and keep that browser session open.( you will get reminders of that )
2. Turn up brightness of the screen to max when going through the gates. Scanner won't pick up barcode sometimes.

Other than that, mobile is great.

They're currently upgrading late 2008 / early 2009 signups.

It was moving relatively quickly from 2014 to early 2017, but there has been a massive slowdown.

There are more Collingwood club support gold members than for any other club and plenty of Richmond ones also, so the renewal rate is currently higher than ever before. As long as those clubs are going well, it'll move slowly.

Rugby is a seriously bad sport... they just run in straight lines the entire time and if they can’t break free in 6(?) attempts they pass it to the other team... maybe the occasional kick to make it somewhat interesting but my goodness it is repetitive


Of course just my opinion but I have no idea how it is more popular than AFL in 2 states.

Of course just my opinion but I have no idea how it is more popular than AFL in 2 states.

All sports are good sports with their own nuanced complexities.
I certainly have my strong preferences but don't discount the validity of other games and sports.
Dispensing with futile comparisons helps.
Just an observation, not a slight.

Rugby is a great sport....you are referring to rugby league and are correct on that front!

So it looks like we are only marginally ahead of last year's semi at the same point in time which ended up on 72,504....I'm thinking the PAX at this point must include MCC guest passes as well as reserved seats

I'm still pretty confident we'll get over 80K as it is a prelim and will get higher MCC turn out....the ponsford part of the members was only half full last year...and the general admin was next to empty in the ponsford.

We always complain about finals tickets when we play a Victorian team. This is our chance to fill up the ground without much competition from the opposition numbers. It is preliminary final for crying out loud. The biggest club in the country. What more incentive do we need?

Wish I was in Vic, would have definitely made it.

I'd love to fill it, but it also relies on the opposition, it always has.
