May as well put a thread on here now since the round 1 fixture has been released. We're playing Port Adelaide at the MCG on a Saturday afternoon in our first game. Here's the rest of the games for the round.

To be fair, we have had a home game now in round 1 for ages.
North Essendon WC Hawthorn and Port would have loved a Saturday afternoon home game.

Man playing Port Round 1 at the MCG is giving me flash backs.

To be honest though, i like this. Lets be fair we're really spoilt when it comes to Round 1, i think only three times in twenty seasons we've not played at the MCG Round 1. That said i'm happy coming down from the country on a saturday arvo before the local comps start and doing an old fashion walk to the MCG with all the anticipation of the season ahead buzzing around me.

Sunday arvo can be meh, but Good old Saturday arvo to bring in the season? Stuff your primetime slots, i wouldn't have it any other way
