Saturday night too.

I would kill for a Saturday night game in Melbourne, for those travelling from interstate it’s the perfect time slot but we didn’t even have one last year.

Geelong round 2 is great, keen to get a tough away game out of the way early.

Could it be that the increase in Thursdsy night games be a token effort to give Melbourne so called prime time viewing while allowing true prime time Friday night free for the truly desrving like Carlton, StKilda and Essendon. Of course this may well be a "gosh we are the victims of a conspiracy" post.

That is a bloody difficult fixture.

Play the three best sides from this year twice and play the second best side of the middle six (Sydney) twice.

Finish the year with Richmond, Collingwood, Sydney and North in Tassie. Ouch.
