It seems a bit of a stretch, but they had their best race at Monza and had performed well at other tracks where power was a bigger factor than normal.
The only thing I don't get is why would he say it? He's just putting expectation on the team. It's best just to down play everything and let results speak for themselves.

I feel like the off track action will be more interesting than the on-track next year. Everyone getting ready for 2021. Don't expect much innovation or change in the cars next year.
