Billed as a captivating lead-in to the seniors, so that our supporters can see the exciting prospects we have coming through in the twos.

Well, the young guys are showing that they're ready to go from the opening bounce and have the pace and to keep up and retain the ball against...... Oh, wait
Jones in back pocket going OK. Abbott good. Cunico good at half back. Very few other positives.

The Buzzzz get a few more big fellow
Blake Sclens. Looks way off. Okunbor at half back doesn't look out of place.
Buzza almost took three grabs before getting one on the lead. He is a beautiful kick now. Has worked hard.
Obviously a long way to go, even in this game.
But it does seem to provide some context for the inclusion of only one first-year player (not including Fort or Atkins, given their years of senior footy experience) in our two JLT squads.
Our young draftees might actually be great prospects over time. But it appears they are truly 'prospects' at the moment, rather than options who are going to realistically contend to play seniors in the short term.
And their lack of readiness for the big stage would not be a surprise to more than a few here.
