What's wrong with going to the footy on your own?

nothing! but for me, im just honestly not that into football live. never have been. if i go, it would be to meet a few others from here, and have a different experience. if it would just be me on my own, id rather watch it on tv.

When I was younger I always went to games at the G on my own.
Just walked into standing room with a beer. Always found someone to chat to.

The reason I went today was because my mate bought a solo dons membership. Always goes on his own.
He just wanted to catch up. So I went.

Forsman from here always used to go on his own.

But I'd never go to a movie on my own. That's crazy stuff

I've done both

Movies are great alone, no pest annoying you when you are just there to watch the movie, no one to steal your food.

The missus and I use it as a great escape from the kids and each other haha

Not sure why people find going to the movies alone so weird - realistically you are sitting in the dark for 2 hours watching a film, not exactly the most social of occasions.

I pretty much demand silence during a movie. But I love the chat after of "was that his dad? So was he the guy at the start that shot..." Etc

My kids leave movies completely hyped after two hours of no chat.

If I went on my own I'd miss that.
