Just a normal day out for the Greene family.

If you read the article, you will find that Toby has been estranged from his father, and hasn't had a relationship with him for years, of course this doesn't excuse Toby's behaviour over the years, but his old man does appear to be a monster, and if Toby was exposed to his drunken violence at a young age, well it is perfectly understandable to see why he has such anger issues.

I am inclined not to judge Toby over the drunken thuggery of his Father, been a rough few weeks for the lad, think the media should back off and let him enjoy his off-season holiday in peace.

This is satire Elmer. It’s what we do here.

However I’ve had plenty of experience in the area of Toby’s suffering and I don’t have anger management issues nor have I been arrested in a public bar.

If Toby has not learnt the lesson from his upbringing then whose fault is that?

So you mean.....you’re a redhead as well?

Fair call Robbo, still people react to Violent upbringings in different ways..

Back on the issue at hand, I don't think Toby should be blamed here for the actions of his father, it's very easy to be critical of Toby for many things, but not this.

Others will disagree, I just feel Toby Greene should be cut some slack.

I was not having a go at Toby. I hope he deals with his issues in a positive manner and becomes a better person for it.

As for his father. Typical and selfish. His type lived in every second house in Glenroy (slight exaggeration) when I was growing up. I have no time for drunks which is definitely a learned and observed behaviour from my childhood.

So I was reminded that Richmond made all players in the 2017 flag side life members. I’d imagine they will do the same with the 2019 players who didn’t play in 2017. If so, you‘d think that Marlion Pickett would become the first player in history to be awarded as a life member of his club after his debut game lol.

Sorry you had to experience that kind of hellish upbringing Robbo. Alcohol is certainly one of the biggest Blight's on your culture, so many families and communities ruined by the stuff..

What I found disturbing in this report is Toby Greene has been estranged/not spoken to his father for years, so how did he end up with a ticket?

Hopefully he is banned from all future AFL Games for life, and clubs should try be More stringent about handing out GF tickets to family members of players

Tight first quarter. Space was closed down quickly by both teams. Highlights Cameron and Rioli’s goals. Lowlights Mumford and Soldo.

Keep the ball away from Shaw (Robbo)
Funnel the ball through Shaw (Cameron)
Get Dusty on Shaw for the mismatch (Dimma)
