Gold Coast receive: Hawks 2019 pick 11 + Gunston + Breust + Smith + McEvoy

Hawthorn receive: Gold Coast 2019 pick 2 + 2020 2nd round pick + 2020 3rd round pick

Ima head out. :$

Looking likely Richmond get #21 for Ellis

Pick #19 + #21
for North's / Carlton's 1st rounder (if Papley decides to stay)

If Richmond are going to package up Pick #19 + #21, and move up to the first round; I'd be more interested if we did something like

Pick #19 (948pts), Pick #21 (878), Pick #72 (19) & Pick #74 (0) (Total points 1845)

FOR

St. Kilda's Pick #6 ( 1751).

Richmond probably only need to use 3 draft picks this year once we promote rookies as there will be minimal list changes this year.

Picks 6, 38 & 39 would be a pretty good starting point for a premiership team.

Plus St. Kilda will probably be better off splitting up their first round pick into two as they are aiming to get B. Hill, Z. Jones & Ryder.

* Pick #72 & Pick #74 are no good to St Kilda as they dont need points or will use them
* St Kilda wont trade pick #6 as they need it to trade for Brad Hill

You need much more than a 100 pt upgrade to move into the top 10.

Try 20% overs.

With upcoming trades, retirements, injuries, etc. it is very likely that St. Kilda are going to use more than 4 draft picks in the 2019 drafts. St. Kilda's current picks are 6, 57, 69 & 79 and they'll need to trade at least some of them out to get in Hill, Jones, Ryder, etc. Therefore they will need picks to fill their list; therefore I believe St. Kilda are more likely to use Picks 72 & 74 than Richmond will.

Richmond will only use three picks in the 2019 draft as we've got four rookies we need to promote to the main list (Chol, Stack, Baker & Pickett); then fill the rookie list with speculative mature age players like we did at the end of last year.

St Kilda will also be trading out players and will get picks for them which will be better than 70's but doesnt mean that much as there wont be many picks used after 70 anyway

I still have a feeling Gaff will go back to Vic this trade period.
Would love WC to make a play for Constable with Kelly.

Gaff + 14
For
Kelly + Constable

Geelong aren’t interested in a west coast player, so I would suggest:
Hawks offer pick 11 for gaff, then west coast give picks 11 & 14 for Kelly .
Everyone wins

This would be quite possibly the worst trade in history, basically trading 6 for 19 and 21, points are absolutely irrelevant, would rather do the Lovett trade 10 times over before doing this one.

I don't do that if I'm Sydney, but it's a good start

Picks 72 and 74 are useless. If the Saints need extra picks, they will get picks around that mark anyway as other teams finish their drafting. The last 3 drafts had 78, 78 and 77 picks in total. Or they can keep picks for the pre-season draft and/or the period where you sign undrafted players (eg wehre you guys got Stack)

so your trade is essentially 19 and 21 for 6, not a chance.
