Real interesting read about the fast bowling revival in the West Indies.

Gotta admit, even as the ultimate optimist these figures are better than anything I’d have envisaged

They absolutely have the attack to do it. I’m very sceptical about the batting.
Like Cummins being in there. He took a bagful against India last time they toured
Cricinfo had him wicket keeping when the teams were announced but I'm glad they've decided to give him the ball.

Not sure it's lost confidence so much. Pretty hard to go past any of Bumrah, Shami & Sharma wth their recent performances and from there it becomes a matter of weighing him up against Jadeja who has a terrific test record and offers more with the bat & in the field.

But sensational to see a great start by the West Indies bowlers as some had anticipated. Should be a very hard fought series.

Good day of cricket bar the rain, windies bowled very well in patches, chase did ok for a glorified part timer, Cummins probably underwhelmed and that might prove crucial in the wash up of the game.
Just good to see us not dropping our bundle at any point really even though India soaked up the pressure and rallied
