He’s had a few chances this summer for Perth and in the ODIs and got slapped. We’ve selected a side with 8 bowling options so it’s not bad to have specialist bowlers for particular parts of the innings. Unfortunately they all seem suited for the earlier overs rather than the death.
It'll be interesting when Starc come back into the side. He'll take the new ball with dorf

serious question... how much worth are you guys putting in the performances of these few t20 for the WC. Or just waiting for the ODI series

For me, very little. Probably the good performances more than the poor ones. I think the games too different to put too much worth into it, it would just be certain situational performances I’d put weight into. If one of the bowlers had have bowled well at the death that’d help there WC cause. Maybe if Turner has a great innings as a finisher that could factor in. I wouldn’t be dropping people on poor T20 performances though, Zampa maybe enhanced his case today.

yeah exactly. I'm thinking it more like great chance to practice specific skills. Like you said death bowling etc.

Definitely room for both. I think Behrendorff is battling with Hazlewood for a World Cup place (in the XI, presumably both are in the squad). Both sort of bowl the same overs. Long spells at the start of the innings, completed their allotment by 35. Think it’s hard to fit two of those types in the same team

Yeah this is what I was thinking about. Jhye + Cummins more suited for middle overs. Dorf and Hazlewood are very similar but I can back Haze in the back end of an inning.
