Might as well start this now that preseason is back on. Hopefully a short thread this year.
The Bulldogs posted an update today: http://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/video/2018-11-19/medical-room-preseason-update
Summary:
- JJ (hip) and Daniel (knee) - both had operations over offseason, both back running already
- Gowers (wrist) - broke his wrist in a car accident, back running
- Bailey Dale (navicular) - back running, full program likely in 4-5 weeks
- Webb (neck) - still in the neck brace, doing low level running, re-assessed in 8 weeks time
- Picken (concussion) - still having low level headaches, and is still no-contact at training until further progression is made and ticked off by doctors.
So mostly good news but that's very concerning for both Picken and Webb - at the moment you'd think they're both long odds to play again given the current prognosis, you'd obviously hope at least they can get over their injuries to enjoy life outside of football if they don't make it back but it's pretty scary stuff at the moment.
