Wow. So only really Adams, De Goey and Dunn from best side (Wells never plays). Pretty ordinary performance today given it’s almost a full side. Hard to know in these JLT games. Such a waste of time.

Yeah Hoskin Elliott is trash, only kicked 42 goals.

JLT isn't a barometer.
Both Grand Finalists lost a JLT game last year by 10+ goals.

Hoskin-Elliot is a gun money-ball player and one of the best set shots in the league imo.

I’ve used two trades in each round from Round 4 to the Byes every single year I’ve played Supercoach. Can always cull a rookie early. Better than a donut. IMO your backup for injuries / suspensions are trades. Better than sacrificing a better starting team.

Hoff averaged 102 in the 6 games Ryder missed last year...

Yeah I am backing agiants Grundy and crossing my fingers and toes. I think last year was an outlier for him and he comes back to the pack.

You're discussing the merits of playing a DPP ruck in the forward line in case R1 or R2 gets an injury, yeah? Don't see any problem starting Hoff in the forwards when he can play 22 games and avg 100

I like Crisp as a pick, but not taking anything from this game. Still an upgrade target for me.
24 uncontested possessions and 10 marks against one of the worst teams in the comp in a bruise free praccy match.

Crisp I'd ruled out off the interrupted preseason, but he's looked in good nick both games. Moved well, which is what the worry would have been.

If I’m choosing between Tim Kelly of Hoff for F3, I’m taking Telly every day of the week. Hoff is overpriced IMO and won’t average 100. With Lycett there now, Hoff won’t be pinch hitting in the Ruck getting points like he did last year.

Not going him currently either, but the consistency argument is a Chinese whispers thing based on someone not doing their homework. Crisp lower relative score variability than Whitfield last year, e.g..
Think people sometimes assume the homework has been done when it hasn't.
If their argument is based on Whitfield potentially having a role with better score stability this year, fair enough.
