Dusty also will be potent with this new set up.

It is exactly what the AFL wanted to open the game up and let the players play.

I like it honestly and Cripps also likes it so i am also sold on it.

A Tagger sometimes does more than prevents a player from getting the ball.

Even more incentive for clubs to lock down on the gun players in the centre square.

Cant afford teams to dominate the centre clearances.

And Sloane has still yet to prove he can handle a tag.

With these rules Dusty will explode IMO.

He is a lock at his price and just put a line through last year IMO which was real bad, but in saying that the prick still averaged 103 a game in what was widely considered a poor season........

I hate the bloke off the field / personality wise as he is a dead set campaigner but gee he can play footy.

Yeah had a good game, but the question is whether or not he can increase his TOG. From memory only averaged about 60% last year. Hard to read too much into TOG from todays games due to the heat.

I have a lot of Carlton, GWS and Adelaide players already, round 14 bye is going to kill me.

Same as me and just Tank that round and concentrate on the other 2 rounds for league winning matches.

I am never in overall contention anyway and leagues are all i worry about and 2-1 in the Bye rounds for league wins i will take hands down if offered to me now.

He will increase it by a huge amount on last year.

He was gassed in games in 1st qtrs coming off no footy in 2 years.

He’s dropped 6-7kgs with his first full pre-season almost since he was drafted.

I think he was just managed on the harder ground.

Laird is so expensive though. For a bit less u can get bont m crouch or sloane who can average more and upgrade to him later. If whitfield doesnt impress in the jlt i might make the swap.
