With Dixon out as well Hoff becomes less appealing. He'll be stuck in the fwd line when not relieving Lycett. His scoring relies on being that Mr fix it link man roaming the wing, intercepted marks back etc. Not a great ruck man and his increased average last year wasn't from hit outs it was tackles, so he'll still get the tackles but not the points around the ground.

Was the only north defender who knew what he was doing today. Numbers inflated a bit by kickouts, which Tarrant and Thompson will take their share when they’re back. Has been capable of pulling out the occasional big ton for a few years now but mid-80s is about his level. Good game today tho.
