Loving all the people jumping on Walsh now that shit canned him for being 200k after most told you how good he was and will play over 20 games if not injured. He is a natural ball magnet with a huge tank which creates separation while being a good disposer of the ball.

Spend the money and get him in at M6.

He was the 3rd most popular mid a week ago (excl. Danger).

I'm probably about a quarter behind the live play watching on kayo - free trial, loving it.
Has there been an intercept mark yet?
With this open play I think intercepting defenders could have their intercept marks reduced significantly.

Sicily might not be as good a pick as I thought.

because nobody locks in rookies before JLT, especially a 200k+ rookie

The general opinion from haters was he the fact he wont get much of the ball than what a Bewley type will get for 80k cheaper and games played etc.

Well you can lock in the games played for a rookie and nobody has better job security IMO from the draft than Walsh does. Also he is a natural possession pig and always has been which is translating to AFL now.

Walsh will be over 400k at some point of the season.

Anyway if you don't want to spend the cash for Walsh go and get Bewley and Valente or Drew and start them on the ground over Walsh.

Save 70 odd thousand and just hope that 70k spent makes up the point difference that Walsh will have over the above mentioned rookies!

At his price he can average 30 and still make you money. One decent game where he kicks a few and he'll make you a bundle. Hard to say no when he's likely to play a few games early.

At his price he can average 30 and still make you money. One decent game where he kicks a few and he'll make you a bundle. Hard to say no when he's likely to play a few games early.

You're 100% right but over the course of the year he'll probably average somewhere in the 40s. If he stringsa few good games together you could probably make 150k off him, but I doubt we'll be seeing him getting over 320k (feel free to quote me on this when he's averaging 80 after 6 rounds)

I'm not doubting you, just saying 90% of supercoach players have never seen him play so jumping on him now you've either seen him train/play and have a good source on his abilities or you're just following the crowd.

Being a blues supporter i'd probably lean towards you knowing your players better than most of us, but would still rather see him play live before committing

It's hard to justify spending over 170k for a rookie. There's no real reason you'd expect them to average more than a 123k'er

I'm not picking him. Theres plenty of mid rookies who wont play as a small forward
