He had 6 clangers, 1 FA and 67% DE.........of course it was gonna cop his SC score, but its his first game.

His stats last year, do favor fantasy game, but his SC was pretty close/not far between. Infact his two 140+ games in DT, he only managed 115/116 in SC. So seems his big games in DT aren't as big in SC.

Burgess mark cleanly whilst others dropping the slippery ball - think he's sewing up a spot in the side for rd 1.

Have to be encouraged by both of those numbers

Also worth noting Bray had 28 kicks and 9 handballs today as opposed to Oliver's 9 & 23. Much easier to have a higher D/E with a 1 to 3 kick to handball ratio than the other way around when playing inside mid. I'm happy to see Bray had 14 contested possies which is very good for an inside/outside mid like him.

Drew, Setterfield, Parker wasn't bad (tackles like that in the reg season and he has a best 22, 60 minimum average sewn up), Burgess kicking a couple and having safe hands.

On the stats sheet they are flag favourites! Macrae 25 Hunter 24 Daniel 23 Wallis 18 Bont 18 Libba 17 - while having Hayes 10, Dunkley 10, McLean 9 rotate through! I love them all for making me money though - betting + for Dogs mids and for the prime mid against Richmond was money for jam in 2018.

That game v Adelaide last year was inexcusable though no matter the conditions. 398 disposals for 2 goals...Champion Data can EAD if they think they are genuinely rating influence/impact and then score that game the way they did..
