Nice effort from Fullarton up the wing there. What are the Cat B rookie rules re playing senior games? Don't think he is ready yet but would be the worst thing to give him a couple of late games if we aren't challenging for the 8.

Think he's worth getting games into now, certainly looks a much more promising prospect long term than McStay.

Bastinac has a new found hunger this year. Last year in the reserves he was racking up the footy but not having any real influence on the game and looked disinterested. This year he is actively moving the footy with purpose and his defensive efforts are outstanding. Bring him back into the senior's next week thanks.

Also I really like Fullarton and Wooller. Cutler has played unselfish footy today, Berry looks a likely type and Answerth and Hinge have been good linking off half back/the wing.

Some people are really keen to throw the baby out with the bathwater after a couple of bad games. We might end up with 5 debutants this weekend if all these untried youngsters are gifted a game.

Fullarton, Answerth, Eli Smith and Cutler deserve a game next week.

If Andrews is out move McStay back, Fullarton plays McStays role, Cutler for Bundy, Answerth for Roberston and Smith for Matho.

But very nice signs from someone who has barely played the game the last 3-4 years.

This is the biggest thing.

Bloke has transitioned back into footy seamlessly and will only improve as the season goes on.

Could be big in 2020 at AFL level.

Yup. McStay has been pretty average the last 2 weeks no doubt, but good lord the ball movement has been deplorable. All of our forwards have been pretty poor tbh.

Fullarton looks to have the agility and ball skills of the prototype modern forward. And is a good mark. I could really see him replacing McStay eventually, later in the year or next year.

Definitely feel like the more pre-seasons he gets into him the better too. While I'm no expert on how training loads/programs for basketball and AFL compare you wouldn't think he would have the tank to play an AFL role well just yet.

But he looks like a natural footballer and that is the main thing.

Cutler is a known quantity and if he can do the team think offers us quite a bit. He looks the most likely.

Fullerton looks like he might get a chance to debut sometime this year.

Coleman’s speed and reading of play looks enticing.

Hinge has been quite good.

Dodongo still baffled people are impatient with McStay. He will develop like Hawkins. Slowly. Already shown improvements this year. He is the future.

Dodongo states again with all the development put into him, if we ditch him, he is going to make us look silly at a Victorian club. Patience is required with McStay. If he doesn't hit his straps in 2021 then we ditch him

Funny Coleman be the one I think we need although he is not on the list :)
Interesting Cutler, Taylor, Basti and Keays.. Are a step above in NEAFL although have troubles in ones.
Cutler been getting the runs on the board. So deserves a reward.

It depends who is out. Andrews and Matho look out hamstrings.
Players who not playing well McStay, Bundy and Lyons
We need someone to run off half back not sure N Robbo the guy as well.

I think Fullarton looks more the forward we need instead of McStay or Big O we too big and slow.
