2nds 2019 Lions Reserves and NEAFL thread

I have a super soft spot for Sam as well.. Although my thoughts, we have lots of talls seems those in the seniors are locks.
Are they happy to play NEAFL wait for a injury or try your luck elsewhere. I hope he gets an extension and stays.

I said this through the bad years guys like Rich stayed instead of chasing a team to play finals in. Yes he was on probably top $$.
Loyalty is sometimes under rated at a footy club, the gel of work mates keep people together in tough times.

I still think he has heaps of potential. He’s played at level and looked okay. Has worked diligently and is building firm now. I think Fagan even referred to him in the preseason as someone close.

Ballenden, Fullarton will have to take over with maybe Walker.

Given we have a no of tall defenders, I’d love to see Eagles as first ruck changing deep forward with Ballenden. Might not happen, but Eagles marking could be an asset in attack, plus his attack on the ball around the ground. I’d also prefer to spare Fullarton from the rigours of ruck work as he develops.

At 192 Adams might be a replacement for hodge, not sure if KPD each week depends on opposition. He also implied earlier in the year prefers not to be fullback. Think perhaps payne who missed all last year and still only 19 will put pressure on Walker. There is also Ballenden who has just extended although physically arguably more a CHB or CHF

We could end up keeping them all. or not
Having a contract and being up for trade happens a lot now.
Payne was thought of high and then got injured so I say he be fine.
Skinner and Eagles you wonder what happens with them.
