It's an interesting one, which only really affects category b rookies now. I'd do it earlier and promote either Madgen or Keane. Plus knowing how history it's unlikely we won't cop another long term injury between now and then.

Of the out of contract players only Elliott improves us markedly as a team IMO.
The experienced depth are probably past it.
Varcoe could stay and mentor some young indigenous talent if we cull hard.
I’d keep Noble. If not down back I think he’d be a better option than C. Brown to be brutally honest.

After 3 years as a rookie without a senior game.... I doubt Lynch gets promoted to the senior list. However, as unlikely as it is to happen... am I correct in saying they could delist and re rookie him if they feel he's worth persevering with?

You’re thinking of our 2019 first rounder. We traded our 2018 (last year) and 2019 (this year) first rounders for Beams. Clubs can only trade picks one year ahead so our 2020 selections only become eligible for trading in the upcoming trade period.

Western Bulldogs president Peter Gordon is calling on the AFL to explain how its unprecedented package of help to Gold Coast will assist the Suns in short-term.

Yes, that is how it works. Any elevations during the season are only "temporary", and players revert to their previous status when the season ends.
