You would think that at either of the next 2 list lodgements he will
Yeah, I think it's very unlikely unless Broomy has decided to retire.I'm not so sure. I can't recall that we've ever done that. Completely disadvantages the player in terms of finding another home relative to others and I think we generally try to optimize those opportunities.

You may well be correct, I'm not entirely sureI'm not so sure. I can't recall that we've ever done that. Completely disadvantages the player in terms of finding another home relative to others and I think we generally try to optimize those opportunities.
Not sure.Is Rupert Wills still in limbo i.e.: unsigned?
Thanks for clarifying the DFA aspect. Interesting situation then! Not sure.
He has a contract in front of him, however if he doesn’t sign, then has to go into the draft.
He cannot be a DFA, if he refuses to sign a contract.
Assume he is pushing for more money.
Don't the agents act as proxy in that situation though?Or has been away overseas![]()

Newnes was just signed as a DFA by Carlton despite having a contract from St Kilda in front of him.Not sure.

You can authorise someone to sign any legal contract for you. You can also sign and email these days.Still requires the players signature on the dotted line I'd have thought.
Didn't Tom Langdon re-sign while on Mt Kilimanjaro?Still requires the players signature on the dotted line I'd have thought.
As did Mihocek while he was in America.Didn't Tom Langdon re-sign while on Mt Kilimanjaro?
What the hell... Scharenberg + our second rounder for Fogarty.
Assume he progresses the way we all expect.
No, Power of Attorney covers itStill requires the players signature on the dotted line I'd have thought.
On a quick look at his CV we have the 2017 rising star winner, 62 goals in his first 40 games and relatively strong disposal numbers for his position. He's probably worth 35 - 40 goals for us next year and may have a more expanded role on the HFF. Obviously a hugely important player for our structure up forward and could become more important if Elliott decides to leave.
Next deal is likely to be 3 years, north of 600K you'd assume.
Yup thisI'd have thought 2 years and south of $600k. Sets him up for a big deal as he's hitting his prime.
More so our pick ranges.I could have delisted twice as many players, how bad is this draft
Who is this alternate Cat B? If there isn't 1 available then why not retain Madgen? He won't be keeping anyone out of a spot.
If finding potential Cat B rookies was as easy as you suggest we'd have had a full quota every year since the inception of the program, but that's just not the case. If there's a better option available then I'd be happy for Madgen to be moved on but it's not something I'd entertain on the off chance we might unearth 1. I'd assume they look far and wide for prospects yet we've had years where we haven't had any or been lucky to have had 1 or occasionally 2.
Perhaps agents only help get trades done at deadline? Jenkins was out of the country, for example.Still requires the players signature on the dotted line I'd have thought.
