I know you say at this point in time but if Martin isn't playing Round 1, I’ll be stunned. (Unless he has some sort of injury and you believe he will need to get match fit in the VFL).

Fisher, Betts, JSOS, O'Brien and SPS will be the most under fire, so there's plenty of room for others to push up.

Docherty, Williamson, McKay and Charlie all have to prove their fitness.

4 1st rounders (Walsh, Stocker, Kemp, Philp) in 2 years via the draft. Add Martin and Newnes to this, along with Pitonett (guessing his name) and a few others...

Wow, we have seriously done well.

1 year to gel. Another trade/draft period and well... we will start to destroy teams.

We nearly have all the personnel and positions covered. If we improve 10% from this year in 2020, finals could even come into it.

Well done SOS and crew. You've made this team great again

Fisher, Betts, JSOS, O'Brien and SPS will be the most under fire, so there's plenty of room for others to push up.

Docherty, Williamson, McKay and Charlie all have to prove their fitness.

Think Marchbank will be in the proving his fitness basket too. Charlie not being considered for now, his appearance will be the bonus and deep forward.

Could be TDK, Cas, McGovern as the talls come round 1 but I think McKay will come good, or even a smaller forward line selected but Betts a lock & invigorated come the season start.

Setterfield starting XVIII & a mainstay of the midfield in 2020.

I have Martin and Gibbons in outs LOB and Willo. C’mon Jim, Martin on $1 mill p.a. surely gets a gig in Rd1..

Willo will force his way in eventually after getting some continuity at the NB’s.

Reckon he began to establish himself through the back half of the season. No longer a question mark for mine, just how high the ceiling is.

Same was said about Pat Cummings. His body hasn't matured yet and he's had a couple of accidents. It's less about being injury prone and more about luck with him. Think he'll play footy in the back half of 2020 at the latest. Just needs to finish the season playing football.

For what it's worth Jack Riewoldt spent most of last season injured and finished the year as a premiership center half forward. It happens sometimes.

I hope you're right, and it is just 'growing pains' I guess it is the manner in which that knee has not held up to date and in those accidents that make you think hmm maybe that knee could be structurally suspect.

They could just be be genuinely accidents and no correlation. Want to see him hit the heights of the abilities he clearly has, would be a travesty if these sort of issues don't allow that continuity to get there.
