Bit of a difference between 6 and 10 though ;)

For me,
Lobbe, LeBois, Garlett, Fasolo delisted.

Possible delisting/trade/retirement
Phillips, Lang, Kerr, Goddard, Simpson

Much less likely:
Levi (leaves for FA offer), Daisy (cut)

The reason I think there'll be less changes (apart from the Club saying so), is our lack of currency to replace players. And
Ye pretty much spot on there..

Not a lot of high end drafting this Yr so wont see another 10 moved on as usual, and why would you..[still could be 6-7]?
No our list is becoming better and settled...I wan to see the Trades happen this Yr....Cogs n Martin in:hearteyes::hearteyes:
We keep TeagueO and Make the Trades bill for next four.

Am really liking our list these days.......its good......i am not imagining stuff either,we getting at dam good list happening at the CFC,with Cogs in and say Martin forward....

We have to sign Cripps another 4 years.........has to be done

and its done.

Nope. Really good this year. Played one quarter and broke his jaw and then thrown back in against best side.

Give him a chance. He is a very good key defender. Too many quick judgements on here. Similar to the comments that I previously read about Jones and Casboult and even Weitering. Only 22
Jones was written off on the basis of fitness, and a failed stint as a defender at the Dogs. Turns out all he needed was a proper defensive coach in Amos.

Casboult lost something like 5 kgs.

The Weitering conversation was horse shit, and we both said as much when it kept bobbing up.

Goddard needs to be quicker, and that doesn't look like happening. Do you see it differently?

With all due respect, I don't think Jeremy McGovern is one of the favorites for the Stawell Gift either.
If he can become an intercept beast like McGovern, I'd be fine with that.
McGovern is deceptively quick and has an amazing ability to cover ground to intercept.

Goddard could double his pace and would still be slower than JSOS going off that chase down the wing yeterday

Did you miss the chase down the wing where Goddard was running through treacle and JSOS put about 20 m on Goddard after starting well behind?
oh, okay then, haven't watched the replay yet, so I stand corrected. But I also don't recall McGovern ever having to chase a player down the wing either.

The point being that players like McGovern read the play so well that they can get to the fall of the ball without having blistering pace. If Goddard can become that type of player like he's shown in the VFL, he can become a player of value.

Id rather a better shutdown defender like Sam Rowe. We have the talented intercept markers already. But it Weiters or Jones goes down we cant deal with a quality 2nd tall.

On the Age podcast they said Astbury is the key, more important than any of the other Tiges defenders. I agree.

The 2 holding the balls, got pushed off the ball another time across half back that resulted in a goal when he started with a 5 meter head start.

He’ll make a good suburban footballer somewhere, but he ain’t up to this level

He might not have a bright future, he might work hard and improve on his efforts, fair enough if you don't see a future, but to say it was one of the worst first games you have seen is ridiculous, considering there were 3 or so players from us who played worse, who have been around several seasons.

It says he's a stronger chance of staying than he was at the start of the season. That statement really doesn't mean much.

If he already requested a trade last year and hasn't signed an extension, he'll most likely do the same this year.

Not necessarily.

He was supposedly after $800,000 per year, he hasn't played like a player who deserves it and his manager has probably found out the offers aren't even close to that. To stay at GC he will probably make a lot more money.

These are the only 3 i'm interested in TBH.

We have decent depth now...guys like Kennedy, Deluca etc are doing a job. We have quite a lot missing right now.

Any recruits need to improve our starting 18 imo.
Guys like Ellis, Newnes, Cunningham could be useful, but i don't think they are even best 22 if we had no injuries...so not interested.
Two for me Coniglio and Jones particularly if we can't get Cogs over the line don't rate any of the rest
Ladhams -PortAdel, Lynch -Collingwood young ruckman interest
Papley-Sydney, AhChee-GoldCoast, Bolton-Richmond, Small forwards 'think Bolton stays'

Coniglio- Jones if can't land cogs
Papley- 22yrs forward/midfielder
AhChee- 21yrs forward
Ladhams- 22yrs ruckman/forward
Gibbons- Upgrade onto senior list
