Pickett seems like he might be one of those players who teases everyone and before we know it he’s gone and we’re saying what a waste he was.

I hope it’s not the case but he’s been around a while now. Injury luck hasn’t helped him yeah but even if you’re injured you can still get some stuff done and you can obviously control your diet.

Just on Pickett - we are all screaming for another small forward......hmmm - don't throw out the baby with the bath water.
pickett is not a small forward. has no goal sense isn't particulary nimble in traffic. he's a winger who unfortunately can't get his body right. a small forward could come in and have an impact without being 100% fit but a winger requires multiple uninterrupted preseasons to play the role competently.

happy to keep him on the list for next year and if he becomes something then great, but don't think he should be a factor in anything the club are planning in the immediate future.

Truly dont understand the faith shown in Lang atm he is an option and that's it was delisted from Geelong as an injury prone player which has imo gotten worse with us unless he can suddenly get fit push his way into the senior side soon and show why he shouldn't be delisted he will be delisted at seasons end .

He wasn't delisted by Geelong. We traded for him.

This. Id keep him one more year at most, and even then he's probably the last name you lock down to complete the list. The likes of Garlett, Lang, Lebois etc, just delist them at the end of the year.

Phillips,Lobbe,Garlett Maybe.

We don't need to retire anyone with players on the long term injury list.

he still retired in a timely manner did he not?

We have a pick in the draft already.

Grigg retired due to injury.

It's pretty poor to suggest someone should retire despite not having an injury just so we can open up another spot for a speculative draftee.
