As if preventing audio/visual recording of the event will stop the information from getting to other clubs. The human brain's powers of recall get in the way there unfortunately.

The biggest thing no phones allow for is to keep the event strictly private and exclusive, so that the media can't get in there and run footage from the event the next day or even run it throughout the entire season as some kind of accountability project.

Renewing my membership is one thing, paying to listen to people who have made some extremely poor decisions in both the on and off field areas of the club just isn't my idea of informed `entertainment!'

Went last year and really enjoyed it when my hype levels were through the roof.

However, would be a million things that I'd rather spend $100 on now. I'm renewing my membership through gritted teeth, let alone attending this thing.

Yeah I felt like all I did last year was walk out blown away by some of the monitoring we do that I wasn't aware of, and the rest of the time questioning if our coaches really had any idea as it was obvious they'd built a slow stagnant possession gameplan for a side that has shit skills.

I think the attraction for those that are going is to listen to the ones that haven't, i.e. Schofield, Monty, Broges.
