Lachie's definitely had a few. Normally find him a little bit robotic in interviews but he's much more open tonight. It's nice to see.

Bastinac tearing up near the end of his speech. So devastating. Probably has no contract. Likely his last official night with the club. How horrible that feeling must be. Hopefully some of the boys cheer him up tonight. So few get to leave the AFL on their own terms like L Hodge. So few get to play for 8 years as well. Bastinac should be proud of having played for this long. Hold your head up high. I thoroughly enjoyed Brew with Basti. Hope he considers media as a career option down the track.

The Suns wouldnt be silly to pick up Bastinac, he could well do a L Hodge for them. Not as good a player of course, and thats no smear on Basti, but he has a good football head on him and would be great for the Suns culture and footy knowledge.

I dont think the reserves team voting at a bnf is a highly distributed item and even if it was it's not like all our games weren't live streamed or anything throughout the year or that at least a handful of Vic teams have part time recruiters based in Qld.
