He was slow all weekend. Has really dropped off the pace in the last few rounds, don't know why. Maybe a combination of struggling for setup as well as having to hold back a little after some dnfs. His teammate was comfortably faster than him on the weekend.

There are only 2 uncontracted riders in MotoGP right now leading to a very subdued silly season. That exploded overnight with the bombshell rumour that Jorge Lorenzo is to return to Ducati with the Pramac team. The talk is his manager has been seen speaking to top Ducati brass and Jorge himself had called Gigi D'Alligna to offer to ride for free.

So where does this leave Jack Miller? He wants to remain at Pramac and says Pramac want him to stay. He said Pramac have met all his demands, the delay with his contract appears to be with Ducati and this would explain why. If Lorenzo gets the gig, would it be a straight swap for Miller? Could Crutchlow get the Repsol seat and Miller return to the LCR team? Could we see a Marquez & Marquez team? (apparently the main reason this wouldn't happen is Marc would prefer Alex on the easier to ride Yamaha to start his MotoGP career). Could KTM move on from the very disappointing Johann Zarco and try to rediscover the magic they had with Miller in Moto3?

And why would Ducati go back to Lorenzo? Have they lost faith that Dovi can get them a title? Has development stalled without him?

Things just got very interesting.

Because after Lorenzo got the hang of it and started winning races, it was silly that they parted regardless of the reasons.
