If ornament of the game does go for something small, cue media flog "the AFL have gone too far with their adjustments and incidents like this rubbing a great of the game out are farcical"

Then cue the flip flop once again when its someone else lol
I'm actually waiting to see which top 20 player they let off for a punch citing "We saw it as more of an X than a punch"

That's payin' $1.02. You know it's a moral to happen just as much as another Eddie Betts worm burning bouncing goal which gets multiple replays as the only perceived highlight of any Adelaide game.

There is a second just before Cunners jabs Vince where Vince looks into Cunners eyes and knows it was the wrong player to front up to.
Watch his hands.
Never noticed that before! Good pick up. What I liked too, and noticed watching it live at the ground, was that the moment Vince "went the coathanger", Cunners just stopped cold as if: bugger the game, the situation, whether it's a free kick or not (was too soon to react to the whistle) - I'm going to nut this guy. Which of course he did.

Also loved watching Higgo stand over him while he was on the ground and say something along the lines of: "you're pissweak, and you just gave away the free, idiot".

Is my favourite bit of North aggro since Petrie tore off Milne's jumper against St Kilda 4 or 5 years ago. :D

Bit blurry but you can see it right here...

Btw... the best part of that whole play is Cunners punches him in the guts right in front of the umpire, and he didn't even reverse it. The ump even thought Vince deserved it ;)

Showed my wife the 'Higgins/Vince Fierce Battle' video last night and she said (about Vince) "Someone needs to punch that guy in the head - but for real. Why does he keep faking?" When I pointed out the incidents that Higgins and Cunnington were fined for she thought I meant the fines were for the Melbourne players for staging :p

Honestly, he really should have been fined for the one where he dropped to his knees and grabbed his face. I'm not even saying that in a half joking or vindictive manner. He genuinely should have been fined.

Agree about Burgoyne's slam tackle that concussed Reid out of the game, absolutely no different to Waites, but the media outcry has been totally non existent.
I expect the MRP to give him the good bloke treatment.
I agree but I don't think there was much outcry for Waite to be suspended. I thought Cunners had more heat. And so did JZ's hit on Cloke.

Watched part of Game Day today. They showed Reid getting concussed in the injuries section and I thought that, even though I am totally against a player getting rubbed out for a tackle like that, it was nearly identical to Waite's tackle so Burgoyne will probably miss a week.

Come to the MRP section of the show, they didn't even consider it worthy of discussion, let alone review it and say all clear! Probably knew that if they did review it the only conclusion that could be drawn is that it was the same as Waite's, so best not review it at all!

Let's see if the MRP take the same approach...

Whoever it was that kneed Mullett in the head and drew blood, was no different to Cunnington in the JLT.
The MRP are as about intelligent as the Carlton morons around me who were going off that Mullett got a free kick. To my amazement they were adamant he wasnt taken high. Fishy must be practising a new mind technique to cut himself?!?!
