Figured it would be more practical to have one thread for the season rather than a 'Round X Rising Star Nomination' thread every week.

Eligibility
Players will be eligible for the Rising Star award if they are less than 21 years old and have played 10 or fewer games as of January 1st 2019. Players who have been suspended throughout the season are still eligible to be nominated but are ineligible to win the award. Players who have been nominated in previous seasons can be nominated in 2019 as long as they satisfy the eligibility requirements.

A nother tough one this week. Kids are really well prepared these days.

Adelaide - Chayce Jones looks good
Carlton - Sam Walsh with another lazy 25 possessions
Geelong - Charlie Constable with 31 possessions (13 contested), 4 tackles, 4 marks and a goal should be the front runner this week and my prediction for the Nomination. Miers, Clark and Atkins all performed well for the Cats. They've got a decent bunch of young players.
West Coast - Petruccelle has an ear-catching name and an eye-catching burst of pace. Exciting to watch. If he can start to win more of the ball he'll be a gun. Oscar Allen also looks great up forward. Kennedy isn't getting any younger and it looks like they've got a ready made replacement raring to go.

Did you forget to include the Port boys? All 4 had very solid games.

Charlie Constable will get it this week. Stephen wells and the cats have done it again.

Port’s crop look sensational and will all be nominated this season.

As I said last week, the 2018 draft class will be the best ever and take over “the super draft” class from 2001.

Chook Constable was unlucky to not get the nomination last week and will get it for round 2. Looking like an astute draft selection.

Charlie Constable, Xavier Duursma, Zak Butters and Willem Drew probably in the box seat for the Round 2 nomination at the moment.
Duursma and Walsh turned over the ball 6 and 8 times respectively.

It’s probably a case of the stats not telling the full story.

Plenty better this round already.

I’ve liked Constable and Rozee’s games so far.

Duursma went 73% in the wet, only 3 clangers.

All our boys could get the nod this week
