The NBA all star weekend heads to Charlotte, home of Frank Kaminsky.

Firstly some admin.

THE COURT

Zach Lowe reports via his twitter that the court looks like that. Minimalist approach.

That concludes the administration stuff.

THE ALL STAR SQUADS

The Official NBA twitter account announced the 10 players who will start the All Star Game.

Bench players to be announced following collation of votes from some sort of algorithm which itself is devised by the following formula:

"by multiplying the number of balls bowled, by the number of balls faced. Then diving that figure by the average age of the batting side, minus, the number of spanners in a sidchrome tool kit."

THE RISING STAR CHALLENGE SQUADS

Announced today.

Can the World show Team Trump how we do it again? In 2018 Buddy Hield (Canadian) led the World to a beat down of the USA. Top scorer for the USA was Jaylen Brown (not a star)

Here are the coaches. Ironically Kyrie (stupid american) will be in charge of USA against the World. The world is not flat.

And now the moment you've been waiting for.....

USA will undertake a powder blue hue, whereas the world comes in black.

Looking forward to this. Last year with the new format players on both teams played a lot of defence and the spectacle was the best it’s been in years, especially the last quarter. Lebrons starting 5 looks amazing, only thing is no true centre.

Also can’t wait to see Curry and Buddy in the 3 pt comp. Should be a fun weekend.

I'm not watching the game, but zero free throws shot in the first half gives me a pretty good indication of the defense going on.

Lol I had Trae MVP at 19-1. Good to see people like watching uncontested layups from Kuzma all night, load of bulls***

why would you bet on a pick up game?
Why not? Makes it more interesting. I always back the shooters in these sorts of games. Got Bogdan last year and Murray in ‘17, Trae or Donovan should have won it tonight
