I do agree that there is a gap between the top and the rest at the moment.

I just believe itll be the same teams at the top forever and itll get boring.

Expanding I believe will create parity and eventually fix the issues growing each year at the moment.

Will Utah compete with a Clemson or Ohio State in this years playoff? No (I think they do match up well enough with LSU to make a game of it, but not with Clemson/theOSU)
But give Utah a better chance to recruit and eat into the advantage? Give it 3-4 years and the gap will be a lot smaller to the point I believe your argument would be moot and theyd be capable of making it an amazing game.
