Panthers vs SF not broadcasted???? GTFO here.

Absolute disgrace looking at some of the games in primetime.

Not one of the broadcasted games is better.

That one is purely on the schedule makers. Games that start at 4:05 are never the broadcasted games

Pit vs Miami on MNF....******* geniuses those schedule makers.

Its not a national game in the US either. so only California, Nevada and Carolina will get the game

Doubt it will happen otherwise we'll have Texans playing prime time 3 weeks in a row and Ravens 3 in 4 weeks
looking at the next week. I think the Texans will refuse the flex because of the TNF game and short turnaround. NBC would of likely want it flexed.

Packers/9ers might get flexed in for week 12.

Week 14 CBS will have the Pats/KC game protected from a SNF Flex
Week 15 could be Rams/Cowboys or Seattle/Carolina [Fox might put a protection on Rams/Dallas]
Week 16 NFLn will try and get Pats/Bills or Rams/9ers as the Saturday night game [NFLn get 3 games on that Saturday the other games they can pick from are Lions/Broncos, Raiders/Chargers, Texans/Bucs]

What games can the other networks protect? Why can't/don't they just protect every game?

What games can the other networks protect? Why can't/don't they just protect every game?
They cant protect every game because the NFL always want the SNF Game to be a big game. Hence why the Flex came in.

SNF cant show both divisional games [Unless the 2nd falls in Week 17, or Fox/CBS dont want the game] and both CBS and Fox and protect 4 or 5 games a year [and the protected games have to be sent into the NFL before week 8 or something like that]. Its why CBS have kept the Pats/Steelers games the last few seasons. or Fox with Dallas/Eagles or other massive ratings games like a Pats/Dallas.

Week 17 has no protections.

and both Fox/CBS can protect 2 games in the early flex window [week 5-10]
Flexed games have to be announced 12 days in advance so the fans have time to make adjustments or arrangements. Also why TNF and MNF are not apart of Flex. and why the NFL now reserved 5 or 6 games in week 16 with no date, so they can pick 3 of them for the Saturday triple header on NFLn.

Fox/CBS also cant Flex games into national window if they dont have the Double header that week. Which is why most people wont see the Panthers/9ers game this week.

CBS National late games in weeks 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14
Fox national late games in weeks 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 16

Both have a national late game week 17

regarding the possibility of a 17 game schedule under the next CBA. i saw something last week about the NFL has been talking to broadcasters about each team playing 8 home, 8 away games and 1 neutral site game [London/Mexico/Canada]. and Disney have been talking to the NFL about picking up that extra game a week to broadcast. but for early London games if ABC/ESPN get them, Fox and CBS are talking to the NFL about getting a discount on other games because of revenue lost by having the Pregame or games having to compete against another network.

WOW. The Bears are the only team in the league yet to have a game this season with 300yds of offence.

Thats how much a good D covers for a s**t O. Last year was their chance, and now the D is not the same, it was never going to have the same productivity in terms of turnovers this season. Next year they might look better when Hicks comes back.

A lot of Lamar's post game press conferences are gold just quietly.

Talking about how he couldn't handle slipping in his footwear and getting caught by linebackers yesterday. 😂
