Does anyone think any teams out there will try to offer sheet Marner or Braden Point?

Montreal tried with Aho but carolina didnt hesitate to match.

I don't think they will. Aho was probably that just below range so that it was only 1st to give up. Maybe they might do 2 firsts but it'd have to be a team like Florida maybe that have cap space and are aiming to win now. Maybe the Blues, Wild, Devils might think about it as they have cap space and probably don't need to adjust the roster a lot. The Jets have a lot of cap space but need to sign Laine and Connor which will probably cost at least 15 of their 22.

If Montreal are going to do a second tier offer sheet, Toronto would welcome it.

But as if the Canes would let Aho go for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounder.

The problem is upfront money and do they get annoyed at Aho for signing it? Weber signed his but he was always going to be shipped out as Poile kind of lost faith.
