While at the same time beating the saints, GC, Freo and a poor Sydney. We could easily be lower than Carlton had we played some decent teams.

Collingwood are fast starters. Port got caught out, thier young players more so. Its what happens in the modern game, happens to us.

There was a period in the third quarter, Collingwood were close to breaking. If port had leaked no more than five in the first, game would of been different.

Don't forget, thier 3 best forwards and two best defenders did not play.

Collingwood dominated the whole third quarter IMO, Port where lucky not to be more than 10 goals down at 3 quarter time!

Port weren’t 16 points up when he marked. Had he goaled they would’ve been 16 points up IIRC. There was still 7 minutes left in the game too so it wasn’t like we kicked 2 goals in two minutes to win it.
