Could GWS miss the finals altogether with all their key outs? Think they will hang on to 8th & fair chance we meet them in week 1 of the finals.

GWS 36 points 121%

Games remaining... 2 gimmes but others are tough.

Collingwood H
Port A (rostered Port losing week)
Sydney H
Hawks H
Bulldogs H
Suns A

Port 32 points 106% - need to win 2 more games. Think Port will struggle going 3-3.

Richmond A
GWS H
Essendon A
Sydney H
North A
Fremantle H

Bulldogs 32 points 95% - need to win 2 more games. One of the form teams. Likely 4 wins not enough but 5 makes it interesting.

St Kilda
Fremantle H
Brisbane A
Essendon
Giants A
Adelaide H

I reckon more like it was a crack at his own team

They clearly were not laughing AT the Suns but Dew seemed to be pointing out look how comfortable and relaxed we make opp coaches - even coaches who never crack a smile

Watched it again on 360 I reckon there was abit of trying to rev up his team but also think there was a lot of the dummy spit aimed at the AFC. You have to remember given his Port background the "everyone is out to get us" mentality would be heavily indoctrinated.

Meh, Kornes has got in your head.

It's a nothing issue.

We tend to "coach" that sort of aggressiveness out of guys. Kelly, the Crouches and Tex are generally the only ones who don't mind it still. Fog as well, but even he calmed down a bit after he got fined twice in his first two games I think.

I liked the way Brisbane reacted but I thought the deliberate targeting by Port actually looked a bit pathetic, abit basic, abit old school SANFL, abit John Cahill.

In saying that I loved some of the aggression the Crows showed in the 90's. Michael Murphy, Mark Viska, Mark Bickley, Jarman brothers, Roo, Bones McDermott. We had some tough, aggressive players who had abit of mongrel in them. Bat that was the 90's, the game has changed alot since then.

The Crows called Dew about it today, he confirmed it was aimed at his players, nothing to do with taking issue at Pyke and he doesn't have any problems.

The last 7 at the G if you include last round, the fixture is a farce.

Wouldn't want to make them travel the week or so before finals to upset their preparations...

I know there is a lot said about GC, but people forget that once the AFL get involved (which they will or have) things will turn around and generally fairly quickly.

They did it to Brisbane, Melbourne and Port. Carlton and Essendon tried to go it alone and suffered.

AFL want GC to gain success and I almost guarantee it will happen.

Richmond last 7 games leading into finals at the MCG - wtf..

Make it 10 games. I have them playing away in week 1 v Geelong at the G, then winning that playing their Prelim at the G, followed by another home game at the G in the grand final.

If they play at their best, they win the flag. Im not sure though its possible to be up every week for the next 10 games.

They will also end up having a couple of byes if they reach the GF with the way I suggested.

You failed to appreciate the distance they have to travel to get to the G.

It took me longer to upload this image and make this post then it takes the Tigers to reach the G from their home base. :drunk:

I'll take a stab: "I can't say, but it wasn't money. I just need everyone to know that I know something they don't."
It’s not my place to disclose private information about a player other than there were reasons why he left and it wasn’t anything to do with the players or coaches or club. Yes he got a pay rise, but there was more important factors for him to move. Whether you believe it or not it not my problem.

It’ll be interesting what Port do with Kern. How do they explain paying him out to the AFL with falling attendances, falling membership and falling sponsorship and who is the standout replacement for him. There’s going to be at least three new coaches next year and it’s not like Port is a club where coaches are lining up to go to....remember Kern’s retort to being ā€œthe last man for the jobā€ and how that appointment played out.
They’re in a terrible position.
