So... we get twice as many people to AO than they do?
Yes, those numbers look a bit dodgy. Sanity check:

$18.4mill ÷ 11 matches ÷ 48,000 (overestimate surely) comes to $34.85 per head. Which looks OK but...

$34.85 into 9 mill / 11 matches is 23,477 which even for Port is a low figure. :)

Higher membership prices and corporates would be the diff I suppose. But I do wonder about the $18.4 mill, that's a big number.

So if you ever wondered what Rodney Eade is like in the coaching box

I dunno how you wouldn't think he's a joke with how he's carrying on.
Is it real?

I'm laughing at it, but i'm not sure it's real. I never really rated him as a coach but surely he wouldn't carry on like that?

Remember when he got in trouble with the police at the WACA (or Subi) for audible swearing during the game from the coaches' box?

Rucci saying in his latest bit that the Crows and Power get $2.40 for every person in the crowd as a "concession kickback". Said through the parliamentary enquiry that our return from the oval has gone from $9 million at Footy Park to $18.4 million at AO, Power have gone up to $9 million at AO in 2017, which is 150% higher than what they were making at Footy Park. SANFL have said their returns have only increased by 6%.
The article say they ere up by 9 I’ll not 9 total so they got the same increase as us

It's definitely real - Eade's voice is pretty recognisable when he's not yelling and getting animated (the only time this happens it seems is when he apologises to his assistant at the beginning).

Hilarious stuff. He should be proud that this audio got out - I hope someone recorded him when he up at the Gold Coast

Eade has spoken quite a few times about how unbelievably angry and emotional he got in the box

Was something he tried to get better at and control over his whole coaching career

Without much success by the sound of it!

So, North Melbourne called a crisis meeting on the weekend. Chairman, CEO, Coaches and Leadership Group.

Emergency. Panic stations. Things are looking so unbelievably bad that they realised they have to do something. NOW.

Was last week the worst performance in our history given who we were facing?

You couldn't make this shit up. A player gets booed (like many players have in the past) but, because it's golden boy Gaz, we can't have that! Poor Gaz probably cried himself to sleep last night because of all of those vicious boos. Give me a ******* spell.

Its an interesting wedge the AFL are making for themselves. They come out very strongly on ''keyboard warriors'' over racist and sexist comments and yet when a player is seen to be booed ( I am assuming this is the reason ) because of liking a post on the same social media - then the player needs protection?

I was there and I was numb, mind you I had been drinking the night before and during the day, so by the time the game was on I had had enough.

But it was a train wreck. Such a low inside 50 count against a shit team is damming.

I realise this stronger stance is at least partly because they were so weak and slow to react on the Goodes booing a few years ago, but the difference in response is just so grating for mine.

They are trying to avoid a move to Tassie.

Without wish to use a cliche, how wonderfully Orwellian and fitting for a society a lot of people are willfully pushing for. Clap when you're expected to clap, boo when you're expected to boo and always remember to praise Dear Leader.

I think this is the AFL executive who will follow this up if it does indeed continue. An important position, but I don't think her jurisdiction should extend to this particular issue. If anything I think it's a Geelong vs Hawthorn rivalry thing

He got booed last year when he returned to Geelong. Collingwood supporters were the worst IIRC.

Doesn't seem to faze him on the field though.

As I said on the main board, I'd rather boo Selwood.
