So, North Melbourne called a crisis meeting on the weekend. Chairman, CEO, Coaches and Leadership Group.

Emergency. Panic stations. Things are looking so unbelievably bad that they realised they have to do something. NOW.

Was last week the worst performance in our history given who we were facing?
I can't think of a worse one. Maybe our match against Melbourne around 2012-ish or whenever it was when they were terrible and we were somehow even worse?

Easily in contention for our lowest ebb.

You couldn't make this shit up. A player gets booed (like many players have in the past) but, because it's golden boy Gaz, we can't have that! Poor Gaz probably cried himself to sleep last night because of all of those vicious boos. Give me a ******* spell.
And have they learned nothing from the Adam Goodes booing? You tell em not to, they are only going to do it more.

I went to that game, back in 2012 at Footy Park. I think we chucked him up forward because Tex was suspended (pre-knee Tex - the best Tex) and he absolutely dominated. Good night that one.

Tippett got KO'd early I think too.

Their list management was weird. Rebuilding, but then kept a 30 year old Goldstein, traded a 23 year old Brayden Preuss and brought in Polec, Pittard and Hall who are all 28-29 at the end of the year.

No.

Short memory.

A 12 point loss on the road is not even top 10 worst performance in our history.

As a side note - North are by no means quality - but they aint that bad. Have played 5 games. 1-4 with two of their losses (Brisbane and hawks) they were within 1 point at 3/4 time.

I think they’re talking quality of the performance.

It’s probably the lowest standard of AFL footy I’ve seen and we couldn’t get it done.

Journalist: why is everyone booing Gazza?
AFL: because they're discriminating against religious people, and that shouldn't be allowed
Journalist: Okay, we shouldn't discriminate against religious people. Why does Gazza hate gay people?
AFL: um... he doesn't?
Journalist: surely his message that gay people are going to hell is against the messaging the AFL has been putting out
AFL: well...
Journalist: how do you think Erin Phillips feels about this?

Eade has spoken quite a few times about how unbelievably angry and emotional he got in the box

Was something he tried to get better at and control over his whole coaching career

Without much success by the sound of it!
He also had a love hate relationship with Minson as well.

Minson was always known as someone who has a genius level IQ, but apparently not overly life smart which used to frustrate Rocket to no end because he was prone to doing dumb things out on the field.

He once referred to Will as the dumbest smart guy he's ever met.

Can confirm that. Will has the social skills and tact of a bath mat.

Funnily enough, they didn't step in and contact the "integrity department" (this existing is an oxymoron) when Goodes was copping it.

Costs me ten bucks more to stand on the hill at port games than crows games. 35 concession for ga, where as only 25 for us.

Thier ga is rarely over 2 thirds full, ours rarely under.
They have a massive areas that are GA, the whole seated area in Eddies pocket is classes as GA, that is why you pay $10 more as you can get a seat in a good spot (not like our GA seated area)

Was very surprised in the difference of the two clubs GA areas, very plain to see how few 11 game members they have.

The players also used to apparently laugh about having to sit next to him on the plane because you he would be stuck having a conversation either about his saxophone or economic climate in the Dominican Republic.

Rocket once said that most of time he couldn't even understand the intellectual stuff that Minson used to talk about.

Yep this is it, our General Admission is basically just the hill and a few rows at the back of the Northern Stand right?

Port's GA is likely still this whole purple section.

All of their Gold member equivalent members with Grand Final access sit in Platinum, which means we'd have members paying hundreds of dollars for Gold tickets in seats they sell as $25 GA seats.

We also average an extra full house of attendances every year, and in the year they are talking about, 2017, we were obviously in pretty good form, and had a couple of home finals.

The absurd thing with Port's GA ticketing is they charge the opposition cheer squad $61 for tickets in their bay (which is nominally a GA bay). The surrounding GA bays are $35.

It means Port actually charge the opposition cheer squad the most for tickets in their bay.

Port leave sections open like that so they don't have to pay a seat levy back to the AFL which costs us $400K-$500K a year.
