¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I thought I had overslept 100 years this morning when I read todays footy article on the Advertiser.:drunk:

Good to see that nothing has changed about the Club I loved. I wonder if there was any flags along the way I missed. I wonder if Carlton were still rebuilding.

I knew I would still be posting. Probably being moderated by the kids of deaneus and Drugs Are Bad Mackay?

Yes they are all dramas.

The greatest injustices were Ordinary People winning in 1980 (awarded in 1981) instead of The Elephant Man/Raging Bull, Shakespeare in Love (1998) instead of Saving Private Ryan/Life is Beautiful and American Beauty (1999) instead of The Green Mile/The Insider.
Ordinary people was amazing. Thouroughly deserved the award. A very tough story told brilliantly.

So the AFL are now worried about the influence on players of constant booing ... really? So Ablett made the strange decision to like a homophobic tweet, said "whoops, that's not what I meant" and people booed him for it. Pendles gets the boos that are clearly directed at the umps for some absolute howlers. Now, after these SINGLE incidents, we are really really worried about this type of attack could hurt the players.

Where was the swift response when Goodes got continually booed for week after week? I'm sure there are plenty that will come in with the "it was because he played for frees" OR "all great players get this treatment" bulldust but that was not the reality. Goodes wasn't booed in the same way that Duckwood gets booed, or the way Carey was booed.

Anyway - it is funny when the target changes how different the response is. Goodes copped a clearly racist agenda for months... and the general public and media suggested that he was being a snowflake. Ablett and Pendles get some drive-by boos and the AFL will probably come up with a "No Boo" Round.

how can we hide all posts about 'booing'? it is so boring that it is being discussed in the media and forums and now clubs have to take action against it apparently. sports fans boo, harden up. it will NEVER stop.
has anyone ever been to any games of footy? ive never been to a single game where there was no booing... never in my life.
